Ranked as the top journalism school in the United States, the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has become one of the most popular and rapidly growing departments at the University. However, the education of students in the field of journalism and mass communication would not be complete without the opportunity to put to practical use the skills learned in the classroom. Blue & White is the University’s most widely read student magazine, and as the organization continues to impact the students, faculty and friends of UNC, we are confident that Blue & White will be a worthwhile investment for you.

Founded in March of 1998, Blue & White is a monthly, feature-based magazine which informs readers of the unique personalities, events and traditions that define the University’s special heritage. Blue & White also maintains a Web site in order to better serve the University community and attract the interest of readers outside of UNC. Operated solely by UNC students, Blue & White provides its staff members with the opportunity to apply classroom concepts through meaningful involvement in a student organization.

Blue & White is in a critical growth phase in which cash flow and capitol resources are of ultimate importance. Generous financial support is essential in sustaining Blue & White in the coming months and years. As a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status, all contributions are tax deductible.
